OUR BASIC PREMISE ABOUT THE TRAINEE:
- Trainee is a committed member who will be leading a discussion group / action group for the first time in his/her life.
- Members in his action group will also be new members of ALNP, coming from Growth Series.
- Our mission is to equip the AGL to be successful during the first 100 days of his / her service as an AGL.
SKILLS NEEDED
- How to plan appropriate activities for the Action Group
- How to facilitate various types of discussion/activities:
- Bible study
- Personal sharing
- Fellowship
- How to motivate and encourage members to
- attend the action group meeting.
- attend the branch activities.
- serve others
- have spirit-filled worship
- maintain a habit of prayer and study
- allow the Lord to transform them
- How to identify, nurture and flourish gifts and talents <– we took this out saying that this is not going to be needed in first 100 days.
- How to delegate work and service to members
- How to monitor progress of members <– we took this out saying that this is not going to be needed in first 100 days.
- How to correct members
